The summer school “Simulations and in vitro/in vivo methods for testing your delivery systems” offers a deep dive into the preclinical assessment of drug delivery systems.
The course will start with an introduction to established in vitro protocols based on cell cultures, discussing their advantages and limitations, to then move towards cutting-edge models for evaluating safety and efficacy.
Animal models of chronic pathologies and cancer, as well as techniques to assess delivery systems biodistribution will be discussed, with case studies provided by experts in the field of formulation design and drug development.
Finally, the applications of advanced computational simulations to drug delivery science will be introduced, providing knowledge on the tools necessary to optimize formulation properties in silico.
Join us to learn about the multidisciplinary strategies essential for successful modern formulation development.
